5-24	Blauschlümpfe und Schwarzschlümpfe (Les Schtroumpfs noirs) Ein Schlumpf wird von der gefährlichen Mücke Bzz (la mouche Bzz) gestochen und wird dadurch aggressiv, böse und schwarz. Das charakteristische Benehmen der kranken schwarzen Schlümpfe besteht darin, den Laut Gnap (dt. „Gasch“, „Haps“) von sich zu geben und durch Schwanzbiss die Krankheit an blaue Schlümpfe zu übertragen. Der Große Schlumpf, der vor langer Zeit, im Alter von 108 Jahren, mit der Krankheit konfrontiert war, versucht, ein Gegenmittel zu finden. De zwarte Smurfen<br\>Op een dag wordt een Smurf gebeten door de bzz-vlieg. Hij wordt helemaal zwart en kan enkel nog "Gnap" uitbrengen. Zwarte smurfen bijten gretig in de staart van de anderen, waardoor steeds meer Smurfen met de ziekte besmet worden. Grote Smurf ontdekt dat het stuifmeel van de affodil de Smurfen terug blauw kan maken. Als na een gevecht echter steeds minder blauwe Smurfen overblijven en Grote Smurf gebeten wordt door een blauwgeverfde zwarte lijkt alles verloren. Een brand in Grote Smurfs labo zorgt echter voor een ontploffing die de voorraad affodilstuifmeel in het rond blaast en alle Smurfen geneest. The purple smurfs ???
25-44	Der fliegende Schlumpf (Le Schtroumpf volant) Ein Schlumpf möchte unbedingt fliegen. De vliegende Smurf<br\>Een Smurf droomt ervan om te kunnen vliegen. Hij slaat aan het knutselen, maar niets werkt. Een toverdrankje werkt wel, maar heeft hem zo licht gemaakt dat hij niet meer uit de lucht kan. De anderen Smurfen trekken hem naar beneden en geven hem stenen te eten. Hij wordt loodzwaar en geeft het vliegen op. Varen dan maar? The flying smurf<br\>A Smurf necessarily want to fly. 5-44	Schlumpfissimus, König der Schlümpfe (Le Schtroumpfissime) Der Große Schlumpf braucht Zutaten für ein Experiment und verreist. Ein Schlumpf macht viele Wahlversprechen, lässt sich zum Anführer wählen und wird zu einem Despoten. Einige Schlümpfe revoltieren. Die dadurch entstandene Schlacht im Schlumpfdorf wird vom zurückgekehrten Großen Schlumpf beendet. De Smurführer<br\>Grote Smurf vertrekt voor een grote reis om ingrediënten te halen voor zijn magische brouwsels. Al snel krijgen de Smurfen, nu zonder leider, ruzie met elkaar. Ze besluiten daarop een nieuwe leider te kiezen. Brilsmurf stelt zich kandidaat, omdat hij zichzelf de meest intelligente en geschikte leider vindt. Zijn tegenkandidaat is een nog onbekende Smurf, "Smurf". Terwijl Brilsmurf zich arrogant gedraagt doet Smurf er alles aan om bij de Smurfen geliefd te worden - bijvoorbeeld door felle redevoeringen waarin hij zegt dat Smurfenland en het Smurfenvolk het beste is dat bestaat - en al snel wordt hij tot leider gekozen met 96 tegen 2 stemmen (een van de Smurfen mocht niet stemmen omdat hij de inktpot over zijn stembiljet had gegooid). Vanaf nu laat hij zich Smurführer (oorspronkelijk Schtroumpfissime, dus Smurfisimo, waarbij wellicht eerder aan generalísimo Francisco Franco wordt gedacht) noemen en draagt een gouden broek en muts. De anderen nemen hem niet serieus tot hij wachters aanstelt, geleid door Potige Smurf. Deze wachters dwingen met harde hand gehoorzaamheid af. Smurführer dwingt de Smurfen vervolgens een paleis voor hem te bouwen waar hij zijn intrek neemt. Ook laat hij Lolsmurf opsluiten omdat die een grap met een ontploffend pakje met de Smurführer en een wachter uithaalde. De Smurfen protesteren tegen deze gang van zaken maar de wacht slaat ieder protest neer. Hierop ontstaat een verzetsbeweging tegen de Smurführer, die probeert Lolsmurf te redden. Dit mislukt, maar de wachters weten Brilsmurf te grijpen. De verzetsstrijders vluchten nu de bossen in. Een strafexpeditie van de Smurführer leidt er alleen maar toe dat een deel van zijn troepen overloopt, en uiteindelijk laat de Smurführer een houten muur om het dorp bouwen zodat niemand meer kan ontsnappen. De rebellen omsingelen het dorp en eisen dat de Smurführer aftreedt. Deze weigert en een oorlog ontstaat, die met rotte tomaten wordt uitgevochten. Een rebel blaast met chemicaliën uit het laboratorium van Grote Smurf het paleis van de Smurführer op en uiteindelijk is de Smurführer met zijn laatste aanhangers omsingeld. Op het moment dat de rebellen de laatste aanval willen inzetten keert Grote Smurf terug, en geeft de Smurfen en in het bijzonder de Smurführer een veeg uit de pan. Hij zegt dat ze zich als mensen hebben gedragen, wat niet als compliment bedoeld is. De Smurführer schaamt zich diep en begint met het opruimen van de rommel die hij heeft veroorzaakt. Ook de andere Smurfen zien hun fout in en helpen een handje. De gouden broek en muts worden gebruikt om de vogelverschrikker aan te kleden. The Smurf King<br\> King Smurf is a regular Smurf whose actual name and position is never stated in the original adventure in which he is the titular main character. When Papa Smurf left the village for a few weeks in order to get some Euphorbia leaves (which he needed to complete an herbal potion for undisclosed use), the Smurfs were left with no leader. Arguments and fights ensued when they all claimed the post and were only solved by the decision to have a vote, though at first they all announced that they were voting for themselves. One particular (but unnamed) Smurf used demagogical tactics and made promises to almost all the Smurfs and they agreed to vote for him. He also put up posters, held a parade, made self-praising election speeches and offered rounds of raspberry juice. Soon, the only other candidate was Brainy Smurf who, as usual, simply claimed that he was the only suitable Smurf since (according to himself only) "Papa Smurf always said so". This arrogance and constant lecturing actually put all the other Smurfs off him. The Smurf thus won 98% of the votes — the other two going to Brainy Smurf, a brainy guy, who was supported by himself, and Clumsy Smurf: the winning Smurf had told him to vote for Brainy Smurf, expecting him to get it wrong when it came to the actual vote. The winning Smurf then proceeded to put on golden-coloured clothes and asked the others to refer to him as "King Smurf". The Smurfs laughed off his pretence, something he himself did not take with amusement. Instead he resolved to teach them their place and became authoritarian. The Smurfs began to despise him as he became corrupted by power: King Smurf imposed a repressive regime and installed an armed troop of guards led by Hefty Smurf who punished all opposition. He forced the Smurfs into building him a palace and wore them out. When one of Jokey's presents exploded on King Smurf, he ordered Jokey imprisoned as a warning. Ironically the only one to show him any real support was Brainy Smurf but, being the sort that goes whichever way the wind blows, he later joined a resistance movement. The rebels (joined by an escaped Jokey Smurf) based themselves in the forest, insulting and provoking King Smurf from a distance. By offering the other Smurfs gold medals, King Smurf managed to mount an expedition into the forest to confront the rebellion, but it was a failure, with the rebels simply getting more recruits in the process. To prevent any more defections, King Smurf had the village surrounded by a wooden wall. When he refused to abdicate, the rebels attacked the village. King Smurf's troops fought back by pelting them with tomatoes. The rebels eventually broke through the wooden wall and the resulting full-scale battle carried on inside the village, causing widespread destruction. During the fight, a rebel took explosives from Papa Smurf's laboratory and blew up King Smurf's castle. King Smurf was left helpless with only his guards to support him. He still defiantly refused to stand down and the final fight was about to start when Papa Smurf returned from his journey and demanded to know what was going on. The sudden return of paternal authority brought an immediate end to the battle and the embarrassed Smurfs had to explain themselves to Papa Smurf. He was very angry with them because they "behaved like humans" and mostly put the blame on King Smurf. Extremely remorseful, ex-King Smurf simply announced his abdication and returned to his old home, took a bucket and broom and said he would clean up all the damage the village had suffered. The other Smurfs felt sorry for him and offered their help, claiming it was also their fault, and that they still liked him after all. Ex-King Smurf was touched by this and so was Papa Smurf who forgave them all. King Smurf's outfit was then used for a scarecrow. ???
45-64	Schlümpfonie in C (Schtroumpfonie en ut) Gargamel verkleidet sich als Fee Aurora (la bonne fée Aurore) und schenkt einem musikalisch unbegabten Schlumpf eine gefährliche Zaubertrompete (ein turlusiphon), deren Geräusch andere lähmt und in einen todesähnlichen Zustand versetzt. Bei der Verfolgungsjagd endet Gargamel über einem Graben mit beiden Händen an einem Baumstamm hängend. Der besagte Schlumpf hätte nun die Möglichkeit, dem Zauberer den Rest zu geben, aber verzichtet darauf. Smurfonie in ut Bij het repeteren van de "smurfonie in ut" blijkt er één Smurf vals te spelen. De andere Smurfen proberen hem allerlei instrumenten te laten bespelen, maar telkens met een vals resultaat. Als hij droevig in de bossen op zijn trompet speelt merkt Gargamel hem op. Gargamel verkleedt zich als fee en geeft de Smurf de turlisifon, een toverinstrument met een volgens Gargamel heel zoete klank. Als de Smurf dit instrument bespeelt voor de andere Smurfen vallen ze echter allen in een diepe slaap, waaruit ze niet gewekt kunnen worden. Elke poging om hen te wekken mislukt, en de Smurf besluit Gargamel op te zoeken. In een van Gargamels boeken leest hij dat er echter geen oplossing mogelijk is. Hij keert verdrietig terug naar het dorp en besluit als laatste eerbetoon te spelen op zijn trompet. Door de valse klanken die hij voortbrengt, worden de Smurfen weer wakker. The smurfony An unnamed Smurf is rejected from the village orchestra since he plays badly every instrument (even the triangle!). He meets a strange fairy who gives him a magic instrument, the "turlusiphon", which always plays well. However, when the Smurf plays the turlusiphon to the other smurfs, they fall asleep. The Smurf discovers the fairy was really Gargamel in disguise and goes to Gargamel's laboratory to find the cure for the turlusiphon-induced sleep, and faces both Gargamel and his cat Azrael. Sadly, Gargamel's books say there is no known cure for the turlusiphon. Angry, the Smurf kicks the turlusiphon to the chimney and leaves Gargamel's home. At the village, Harmony (as the Smurf now calls himself) takes his old trumpet and decides to play a requiem for his fellow Smurfs. The miracle happens when his music is so awful that it awakens the Smurfs. The Smurfs decide to accept him at the orchestra due to his heroism, but they still cover their ears when he plays. ???

5-44	Schlumpfine (La Schtroumpfette) Gargamel will sich an den Schlümpfen bitter rächen und schickt ihnen deswegen ein von ihm gezeugtes keckes weibliches schwarzhaariges Schlumpfinchen. Der Große Schlumpf verschönert sie zu einem blonden, attraktiven Wesen. De Smurfin<br\>Gargamel wil zich wreken op de Smurfen en maakt daarom een Smurfin: een vrouwelijke Smurf. Ze heeft zwarte haren, een simpel jurkje en een dikke neus. Het Smurfinnetje wordt gevonden door een andere Smurf, die haar naar het dorp brengt. Daar is iedereen erg benieuwd naar haar, maar niemand weet hoe haar te behandelen. Haar karakter is echter vreselijk en de Smurfen worden haar stilaan moe. De Smurfen proberen haar wijs te maken dat ze dik is. Het slaagt en de Smurfin wordt diep ongelukkig. Grote Smurf wil haar helpen en tovert het lelijke eendje om in een verleidelijke schoonheid. Plots verdragen de Smurfen al haar grillen wel, zo erg zelfs dat ze toestaan om een grote sluis open te zetten. Het dorp stroomt onder en de Grote Smurf veegt haar de mantel uit. Ontgoocheld maakt ze bekend dat ze van Gargamel komt. De Smurfen kunnen het haar vergeven, maar de Smurfin beseft dat ze de eendracht onder de Smurfen ondermijnt. Ze vertrekt stilletjes. De Smurfen vinden het spijtig, maar hun verdriet wordt snel vergeten als ze Gargamel ook een poets willen bakken: ze sturen Gargamel een afgrijselijke vrouw. The Smurfette<br\>Gargamel wants to take revenge against the Smurfs for his humiliating defeat at their hands. He decides that the most horrible plan to destroy them would be to send them a female Smurf, who shall seduce them and lead them to their doom. He thus fashions her out of clay and dips her in a potion, creating Smurfette. Smurfette is sent to the Smurf village, and the others befriend her, despite that she later proves to be annoying albeit good-meaning. She is very talkative, a bit bossy, overly friendly, and hysterical. At first, Smurfette looks like a male Smurf with scraggly black hair, a large nose, and rather surly eyes, the only thing separating her from the rest being her white dress; not exactly the attractive temptress that Gargamel tried to create. Some of the Smurfs become sick of her, so they decide to play a trick: they make her think she has become overweight (by rigging a scale, setting in a misshaping mirror, making her listen to some nasty talk...). Becoming depressed, she realizes that she is not pretty and Papa Smurf decides to help her: he operates plastic smurfery on her for days and nights, and Smurfette comes out with blonde hair, more delicate features, longer eyelashes, walking and acting much more gracefully. All the Smurfs instantly fall in love with her and soon after, they all try to seduce her through different means. The competition and jealousy eventually bring chaos and violence among the Smurfs, who are ready for anything to please her, even painting the dam of the river pink. The last straw is when Smurfette forces Poet Smurf to open the dam for her, just so she could see the water spurting. The dam gets stuck open and the village is flooded. Even after the dam is sealed back up, the village is in a disastrous state. When Papa Smurf discovers that Smurfette is indirectly responsible, he tells her that she has only brought trouble. Furious, Smurfette tells them all that she shall then go back to Gargamel. After hearing this, Papa Smurf orders her arrested and places her on trial. The trial proves to be quite biased, most of the Smurfs supporting Smurfette's innocence. Jokey Smurf (who is Smurfette's attorney) reminds them that she has been able to seduce the Smurfs because of Papa Smurf, who made her attractive. Smurfette is eventually declared not guilty. Smurfette can't stand the Smurfs fighting each other for her anymore, so leaves the village indefinitely, leaving a message saying that she will be back one day (which she eventually does). Although they are saddened by the event, Papa Smurf cheers them up by telling that they should get revenge on Gargamel and give him a taste of his own medicine: they create a fat ugly human woman out of clay (as Gargamel did with Smurfette) and send her to his house, where she desperately asks him for shelter, speaking in Smurf talk. The story ends with Gargamel running away from her, grumbling that he shall take vengeance. ???
45-64	Die Schlümpfe in Not (La faim des Schtroumpfs) Im Winter wird das Vorratslager der Schlümpfe beschädigt, die Vorräte unbrauchbar. Sie machen sich auf eine weite Reise, um zu neuen Nahrungsvorräten zu kommen. Honger bij de Smurfen<br\>De voorraadschuur van de Smurfen brandt in het putje van de winter compleet af. Zonder voedsel kunnen ze niets anders dan wegtrekken uit het dorp. Ze vinden een oud kasteel, maar de heer van het kasteel is arm en heeft ook niets te eten. Een muisje toont de Smurfen echter ongewild de weg naar een immense schat. De heer is weer schatrijk en bedankt de Smurfen door eten voor ze te kopen. The hungry smurfs<br\>Winter is near and the Smurfs are gathering food. But days after the winter comes, the food storage is destroyed in a fire. To survive, they are forced to leave the village and find a place where they can feed themselves. After long days journeying in the cold wilderness, they find a human castle where its lord is living alone after losing all his fortune. Trying to find remaining food, they stumble on a secret room of jewels. They share their discovery with the lord, who can then buy food for them. The Smurfs are then able to go back to the village. ???

5-24	Das Zauberei und die Schlümpfe (L’Œuf et les Schtroumpfs) Die Schlümpfe finden ein Zauberei und entdecken, dass es Wünsche erfüllt. Terug in het dorp blijkt het een toverei te zijn: wie een wens doet en op het ei slaat, krijgt het gewenste. Het dorp wordt al snel een heuse puinhoop met al de wensen en verwensingen van de Smurfen. Grote Smurf wenst dat het hele dorp weer wordt als vroeger. Kort daarna breekt uit het ei een kuikentje. Een slimme Smurf denkt nog het kuiken te kunnen opvoeden tot een kip dat tovereieren legt, maar het kuiken wordt een haan. The Smurfs and the egg<br\> he annual event known as Smurf Day is due and Papa Smurf suggests that they make a big cake to celebrate. With great excitement, the Smurfs gather the ingredients only to find that they lack an egg. Papa Smurf therefore sends Grouchy Smurf and another Smurf to get one. After going to a lot of trouble to obtain an egg from a nearby farm, the two Smurfs face an equal struggle getting it home, only for Papa Smurf to show that the egg is a fake made of wood.Setting off to get another egg, the two Smurfs then find one in the middle of the forest. They take it back to the village where the others try in vain to break it. It's even resistant to an axe and a frustrated Smurf expresses the wish to be turned into a hot-dog if he cannot break it. When he does strike the egg he is actually turned into a hot-dog and the others realise that it is a magical egg that grants them wishes when touched.Every Smurf uses the egg to make their wishes come true: to be red or yellow-skinned, to become a giant, to have an elephant, money, cakes etc. When two Smurfs argue over who should use it first, they wish all sorts of nasty things upon the other: one Smurf wishes the other to have a big nose, a long tail and be covered in hair; while the other wishes him to have big ears, huge teeth, a long beard and be green-skinned.As a joke by one of his Smurfs, Papa Smurf has himself been turned into a young and ordinary Smurf while three others have adopted his appearance and claim to be the genuine article. To restore order from the chaos, Papa Smurf goes to the egg and wishes that everything be the way it used to be. Everyone is turned back to normal and, before they can renew their wishes, the egg cracks open revealing a baby chick.A Smurf reasons that the chick will become a hen and lay magic eggs. He thus sets to work building an enclosure for the chick to live in, feed and water it and keep the place tidy. After all his hard work however the Smurf is shattered when the chick grows up to become a non-egg laying rooster. Les Schtroumpfs trouver un œuf magique et ils découvrent que l'oeuf remplit souhaits.
25-44	Der falsche Schlumpf (Le faux Schtroumpf) Gargamel möchte sich an den Schlümpfen rächen, mischt sich einen Trank und verwandelt sich damit in einen Schlumpf. Im Detail geht die Transformation etwas daneben. Er hat keinen Schwanz. Er ist nicht in der Lage, die Leibspeise Salsepareille zu genießen und er beherrscht nicht die Schlumpfsprache. Dennoch gelangt er ins Schlumpfdorf und wird zunächst als Schlumpf aufgenommen. De valse Smurf<br\>Gargamel tovert zich om tot een Smurf, maar de toverdrank gaf hem geen staartje. Hij maakt een houten staartje en loopt het bos in. Een echte Smurf brengt hem nietsvermoedend naar het dorp. Hij probeert de Smurfen te vernietigen, maar zijn pogingen mislukken. Hij saboteert ten slotte een brug, maar hij is de enige die door de brug zakt en in de rivier valt. De lijm van het staartje komt los door het water. Het staartje wordt gevonden en Grote Smurf legt de link met de sabotage: er is een valse Smurf. De Smurfen knijpen in elkaars staart om de valserik te vinden, maar Gargamel is intussen al een nieuw brouwsel aan het maken. Eentje om zichzelf te worden. Hij slaagt, maar zijn Smurfenlengte blijft behouden. De Smurfen jagen hem het dorp uit. The fake smurf<br\>The Smurfs' sworn enemy, Gargamel, creates a potion that turns him into a Smurf, his plan being to infiltrate their village and destroy them. However, the potion does not fully work since he lacks a tail, so he makes a wooden one and glues it to the back of his pants. He later finds a Smurf who, not knowing who he really is, guides him to the village.Gargamel sets about plotting to destroy the Smurfs. He tries to mass poison them by intoxicating their midday meal but the Smurfs show no signs of suffering. Gargamel later discovers that he in fact poured the poison into a cauldron containing nothing but dirty laundry. A bridge over the River Smurf has been completed. Gargamel sabotages it overnight, but the next day, when it is inaugurated, the Smurf walk over it without any trouble. Frustrated, Gargamel himself crosses it, only for the bridge to collapse when he is halfway along. He falls into the river and is rescued. Papa Smurf later discovers evidence of sabotage.The dunking loosens Gargamel's glued tail which is later found by a Smurf. Realising that there is a false Smurf in their midst, Papa Smurf orders the tails of every Smurf to be pulled for checking. Discovered without a tail, Gargamel rushes to Papa Smurf's laboratory and barricades himself in, announcing his intention to brew a potion that will transform him back into a human and enable him to lay waste to the village. The Smurfs break into the lab just as he is drinking the potion but, although he recovers his looks, Gargamel is still the same size as the Smurfs and is easily taken prisoner.Begging for mercy, he is tied up with rope and taken outside the village where Papa Smurf approaches him with a knife. Gargamel pleads further only to find Papa Smurf cutting his ropes and ordering him to leave. Gargamel hastens off, but, once well clear of the village, swears revenge once more. ???
45-64	Der hundertste Schlumpf (Le centième Schtroumpf) Der Große Schlumpf stellt fest, dass zu einem Mondfest, das alle 654 Jahre stattfinden soll, genau 100 Schlümpfe nötig sind. Er findet nur 99; schließlich kommt der Eitleschlumpf (Schtroumpf Coquet, Modeschlumpf) durch Blitzeinschlag in seinem neuen Spiegel zu einem lebendigen Spiegelbild. De Honderdste Smurf<br\>Het maanfeest breekt aan, maar voor de dans zijn 100 Smurfen nodig. In het dorp zijn er slechts 99, Grote Smurf heeft een probleem. Het Smurffatje helpt hem onbedoeld door zich te spiegelen tijdens een onweer. Zijn spiegel wordt geraakt door de bliksem en het spiegelbeeld van het Smurffatje wordt levend. De dans lijkt te kunnen doorgaan, ware het niet dat de Honderdste Smurf alles omgekeerd doet van wat het Smurffatje doet. Op een bepaald moment loopt het Smurffatje achteruit, wat de Honderdste Smurf niet kan door een muur. Zo krijgt hij ook een ketel op zijn hoofd. De spiegeling is voorbij, maar de Honderdste Smurf spreekt nog altijd in spiegelschrift. Gefrustreerd omdat niemand hem verstaat, springt hij terug in de spiegel waar hij vandaan komt. De Honderdste Smurf breekt door de spiegel en wordt een normale Smurf: het feest kan doorgaan. The hundredth smurf<br\>Papa Smurf realises that they are due to perform the Dance of the Moon which is held every 654 years. A hundred Smurfs are required for the ceremony but there are only 99 Smurfs in the village and Papa Smurf is at a loss as to how to make up the required number. Meanwhile, Vanity Smurf decides to make himself a large mirror. Since the process of hammering and polishing the required sheet of metal proves to be unbearably noisy, and he insists on working through the night, the other Smurfs demand that he continue in the forest. Vanity finishes his mirror but is then caught in a storm. Sheltering under a tree, he is admiring himself in his new mirror when it is struck by lightning. The mirror disappears but Vanity's reflection has come to life! The reflection does and says the same things as Vanity: the only problem being that his physical actions are still those of a mirror image and he speaks in reverse. They thus both hurry back to the village. Papa Smurf thinks the reflection is the hundredth Smurf he needs for the Dance of the Moon, but the reflection sings and dances backwards which ruins the rehearsals. Papa Smurf's attempts to make him act like a normal Smurf are in vain.Vanity takes the reflection back to his house but since they do the same things at the same time they end up having to squeeze through the door, eat from the same bowl, sleep in the same bed (which results in a sleepless night) and use the same towel, which is ripped by both Smurfs pulling at it. This series of incidents causes them to fight but then the reflection hits the wall and is knocked unconscious by a cauldron falling from the shelf above him.Vanity takes advantage to lock his double outside the house. Their synchronism has now been broken and the reflection is now able to move around of his own accord. However, he still speaks in reverse and cannot fit in with the rest of the village. Sad and lonely, he wanders the forest where he finds the mirror from which he came from. The reflection tries to re-enter the mirror but instead goes right through it. However, he has now reflected again, becoming a real Smurf who can act and speak normally. He is thus made welcome by the other Smurfs.Relieved, Papa Smurf returns home only to find a double of himself talking in gibberish and performing the same actions as him. He is horrified at the idea that they are now 101 Smurfs, but, on closer inspection, discovers that it is in fact Jokey Smurf in disguise. Papa Smurf kicks him out of his house. That night, the Dance of the Moon is held as a double celebration. ???

De Smurfen en de krwakakrwa<br\>Grote Smurf ontwerpt een nieuw soort kunstmest dat een plant razendsnel moet laten groeien. Er lijkt iets fout te zijn, want zijn testplantje wordt een monster. Als de plant is gedood, stuurt de Grote Smurf twee Smurfen op pad om het middeltje te verstoppen in de woestijn. De twee gooien het echter in een ravijn. Het flesje breekt en een druppel komt terecht in de mond van een vogeltje. De gevolgen zijn zoals die bij de plant: de vogel wordt een groot monster, de krwakakrwa. Hij brengt grote vernielingen aan in het Smurfendorp. De Smurfen vluchten naar een oude toren. Daar maken ze een soort kanon waarmee ze stenen afvuren, maar dat heeft niet veel effect. Grote Smurf probeert het uiteindelijk met een vuurpijl. De krwakakrwa verliest al zijn veren en valt op de grond. Daar probeert hij ook nog schade aan te richten, maar de Grote Smurf is hem te snel af. Ze geven de vogel een drankje waardoor hij heel klein wordt. De krwakakrwa gaat voortaan door het leven als een kleine vogel. The Smurfs and the howlibird<br\>Papa Smurf tries to create a new fertilizer, but it transforms an ordinary flower into a smurfivore plant. After destroying the plant, two smurfs try to get rid of the fertilizer throwing it in a lonely place. However, a bird swallows it and becomes a huge, destructive monster named the "Howlibird". The Howlibird destroys the smurf village and the smurfs escape to an old tower. There, Handy Smurf suggest to repair an old crossbow to throw rocks to the Howlibird. Papa Smurf goes to his lab in the village to get an explosive which, when thrown by the crossbow, blows the Howlibird's feathers. Then, Papa Smurf defeats the Howlibird with bullfighting techniques, and uses a formula stolen from Gargamel's lab to make the Howlibird to shrink. Some time later, while the smurfs are repairing the village, the Howlibird reappears with regrown feathers, but with his current size he is not a menace anymore. ???
